Conduct thorough assessments of existing business processes and their interdependencies with business policies and procedures Develop new processes as required to meet business objectives Use data-driven analysis to identify inefficiencies, sub-optimal customer/user experience, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement Align new business processes with existing processes and ensure scalability Test business process designs to calibrate accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop actionable improvement plans Leverage system functionalities and technologies to support business objectives Establish key performance indicators to measure business process effectiveness Track and report on progress Address resistance to change and coordinate change management, including training and support during process transitions Facilitate adoption of new business policies and processes across the organization May be responsible for performance and coaching of staff and participate in talent selection, development, and performance management decisions for direct reports Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of Business Process improvement experience Prior Insurance experience preferred Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional process improvement designation preferred, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma Demonstrated proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and project management Ability to perform complex process analysis, design, and simulation High degree of creativity and latitude Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and benchmarks Strong understanding of the organization's business and technology operations Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive decision-making Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Business Process Improvement, utilizing data-driven analysis and process mapping to enhance operational efficiency. Proficient in change management and stakeholder collaboration to facilitate the adoption of new business processes and policies.
