Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

8am-5pm or 7am-4pm with one day from home

Position Overview

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring initiatives across a variety of professional, technical, and operational departments. This individual will work closely with department leaders to identify staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, and manage the hiring process from initial outreach through offer acceptance. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and experienced in developing effective recruiting strategies for diverse roles in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

• Oversee recruitment activities for positions ranging from entry-level and hourly roles to specialized technical and management positions.
• Partner with department leaders to understand staffing priorities, establish candidate requirements, and develop targeted hiring plans.
• Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring teams through the selection process.
• Prepare and communicate employment offers, including compensation details and other applicable employment information.
• Coordinate internal career opportunities and employee transfers, ensuring a consistent and organized selection process.

Talent Pipeline Development

• Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for a broad range of operational, technical, and professional positions.
• Establish relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, industry groups, and other talent networks.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines to support ongoing staffing needs and anticipated business growth.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify upcoming workforce needs and develop plans to address recruitment challenges.
• Build relationships with prospective candidates to support current and future hiring requirements.

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

• Leverage recruiting platforms, professional networks, online resources, referrals, and direct outreach to identify potential candidates.
• Engage qualified individuals through targeted sourcing efforts and ongoing relationship management.
• Support initiatives that strengthen the organization's reputation as an employer and improve candidate engagement throughout the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Experience managing recruitment activities from candidate sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Strong candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills.
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external recruiting partners.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and common recruiting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.
