No military service required. A Texas state license is required for this role.Practice HighlightsFull-scope anesthesia practice (general anesthesia, regional techniques, OB epidurals, and perioperative coverage)Work independently within defined clinical scopeSelf-scheduling model (flexibility based on coverage requirements)Pager call rotation requiredLong-term contract with potential to extendCredentialing timeframe approximately 45–60 daysCandidate RequirementsGraduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia programCurrent CRNA certification (AANA / NBCRNA)Active, unrestricted RN license and Texas APRN licensure (or eligibility – support available)Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no online-only certifications)Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience in the last 3 yearsCompetent in general anesthesia, epidural/spinal anesthesia, IV regional techniques, airway management, and perioperative evaluation/documentationSchedule & CoverageFull-Time strongly preferred; local PRN candidates may be consideredFlexible scheduling coordinated with clinical team needsPrimary coverage in the OR with additional perioperative patient management responsibilitiesExpected to follow established clinical documentation and communication standardsCompensation & Benefits1099 Independent Contractor structureLong-term contract stability with opportunity to continue beyond initial termTraining and EMR workflow orientation providedLicensing support available for qualifying providersWhy Fort Cavazos, TX?Located within reach of the Greater Austin region, this area offers affordable living, accessible travel, and a supportive clinical work environment.
