Description, Duties & Responsibilities: Support the daily operation and programs of the Memorial Union Gallery Assist with the installation, programming and striking of exhibitions (weekend work necessary) Assist with the care and maintenance of the NDSU art collection Work Safely Provide excellent customer service and work effectively in a team environment Actively participate in Memorial Union Student Employee Development Requirements & Competencies: Must be a full-time NDSU student and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA Positive attitude Strong oral & written communication skills High degree of initiative and the ability to carry out tasks to completion in a multi-tasking environment Ability to work with a diverse group of people Work safely Attend student employee trainings and all University required trainings Pass a required background check Preferred: Interest and proven record of participating and promoting the arts is desired Work Location: NDSU Memorial Union Gallery Hours & Schedule: Part-time, 10-15 hours/week, schedule TBD To Apply - Applications must include the following materials: Application: Resume & Cover letter optional Please include within application if you are currently or have in the past 12 months been employed with NDSU, the North Dakota University System or any other North Dakota State agency.
